| Class T High-Amp Fuse Block with 400Amp Fuse. This fuse is 6 inches from the house bank and is intended to protect the system from a dead short in one of the high amperage lines (inverter, windlass, starter, alternator). This fuse can interrupt a short circuit of up to 20,000Amps. All fuses downstream of this fuse have interrupt capabilities in excess of 400Amps. Thus, if a breaker or fuse cannot stop the short this fuse provides the ultimate protection. |
