Variable Pitch Maxprop - 18 Inch Diameter

The only issue with the system is I have to shut down the engine in gear to make sure it feathers and then take the transmission out of gear before starting again. 

The Maxprop was installed after rebuilding the transmission after damaging the transmission by letting it free wheel while sailing.

Tom and I recently installed an 18" Maxprop on "Alegria", his Northwind 43. The question is always if the pitch of the prop is correct. I have collected the appropriate information which is used to validate the initial guess of pitch provided by PYI which was 18 degrees of pitch or 11 inches of pitch.
