We kept trying to get a picture of this dog playing with children..
The Marshallese keep pigs which they feed scraps and coconut, so much for unsaturated fats! But boy are they tasty!
A Marshallese delicacy is sea turtle soup. It is traditionally served at important events. In this case a funeral which is also why the inter-atoll vessel is here. For the Marshallese the sea turtle is a renewable resource. For generations they have collected the sea turtle eggs, hatched them, protected them from predators and released them at sea. 
This bird, while wild, is almost a pet. They feed it and it keeps coming back. I am not sure what kind of bird it is, if anyone has a idea please let me know.
