Propeller | MaxProp - 22 Inch Diameter,
Variable
Pitch set for position "C" and "K" which gives 16 degrees of pitch or
13 inches of pitch. Tip clearance on the hull is about 2.5" which
is a bit tight. Hub is 83mm series. Spare propeller, 22 Inch two bladed fixed prop with 18 inches of pitch. Note that due to the limited number of threads allowed on the MaxProp there is only room for one nut. Windward Yacht Center tech recommends pinning if changing prop out of the water in an out of the way place. If in the water use 3M 5200 as an underwater locking agent until can change out for repaired prop. |

Y-Valve | None between toilet and tank all toilet waste goes directly into the holding tank. There is a Y-Valve under the aft saloon floor which selects if the single discharge port on the tank goes to the waste pump or the deck pumpout fitting. Contemplated adding a second pump out fitting to the tank, however, decided that having the ability to backflush the pickup tube on a tank which requires pulling the battery bank to access is not a bad thing.
Fwd Head | Raritan Marine Elegance w/Sea Fresh Smart Switch (24V, sloped back, standard height)
Discharge Pump | Dual 24V Whale Gulper Toilet Waste PumpBP2554B, Both pumps run to independent fittings on the new forward waste tank. Both run to independent seacocks, electric selector switch under forward cabin settee reflects current seacock configuration.
Y-Valve | NONE! With three separate fittings for removing waste this becomes unnecessary, the head goes straight to the tank, then the waste is removed as necessary. 2 pumps and deck pump
Hose | Trident Marine Hose - X.H.D. Sanitation Hose #148. With the amount of hose in the system and as a freshwater system the expensive hose would have cost a fortune. May replace select hoses which having standing waste if they become a problem.

24 VDC MARINE GAS CONTROL & DETECTION SYSTEM #1300-7760 (for 12V and 24V) with 24 Volt Solonoid #1300-7708.2-24V |
||||
Propane System | All Hose System, replaced spring 2011
Fridge | Glacier Bay holding plate system
with one plate in Fridge, compressor is 230V 50/60hz water cooled.
Pulls about 4 amps at 220V or about 800 watts. Fridge and freezer are
on solonoids in the refrigerant lines pulling both boxes down in
parallel and then turning off whichever box reaches it target
temperature first. Generally on shore power when the system is cycling
only one circuit is active at a time. On the hook with both active it
takes about 30 - 40 min to pull down the fridge and an additional 20 -
30 min to complete the freezer cycle. Rebuilt inside of fridge / freezer in Spring 2012 |
